Our First Day of Mission Work....

Our rainy Monday has turned out to be quite the blessing for many of us.

Our construction crew was able to get started on Pastor Brunal's office at their church.

Doug started on the electrical work, while Tony and James worked on the squarring out of the office.

Tony and James with the help of the boys were able to get the walls studded out

We gave the Pastor all of the toboggins that Emily Groce made and they said that they were soooo appreciative.

Good Monday Morning!!
We are off to a rainy start this Monday morning... The weather is very overcast and rainy today. The "construction crew" left out early this morning to get supplies from Home Depot and start building a church office for the Pastor of the church we were connected with. They were able to meet with him yesterday and thru the translator were rejoicing that we had lots of chances to witness to the people in his church neighborhood. Us ladies/girls are ready to get involved with the different activities that we have planned. Today we are meeting with Pastor Im and going to go prayer walking and finish planning all of the activities for our weeks activities.
Oh and lastly, We all want to say a BIG Hello to our parents, grandparents, friends and all... WE LOVE AND MISS YOU!!!

Ooops! and pics from Sunday afternoon/evening...

Good Evening..... I just realized that some of our pics landed in the wrong day! It's easier to just leave them that way than to reload them... We had a great day of just catching up on some much needed rest before starting our week. After church today we just had "free time"... The kids really enjoyed swimming!!! They also have had lots of time to connect with each other and us adults! It's been a real blessing to get to know everyone better and better!

Good Times with Great Friends....

We had church services this morning @ Renaissance Today Church. They were very nice to open their services up for us to attend. Our trip so far has been a definite "ROAD TRIP"... Our youth has been very good thru all of the traffic jams, road detours, getting lost, ect. We are very glad that they have kept it together! We are looking forward to volunteering up here on missions. We have already met some very unique people that

have been a real big encouragement to us!

Here is a few "ROAD TRIP" pics to share! I think we are all just ready to eat some HOME COOKED MARETHA MEALS!!!! :o)

Pennsylvania....Finally Half Way There!!!

We finally made it half way tonight at 9:30pm... It's been a long stressful day dealing with delays due to traffic and then the many bathroom stops! It took us around 3 hrs. to drive approx. 40 miles. We then had to deal with a huge rain storm which included HAIL!

Zac chillin' out... Our great window washer, James and how
many guys does it take to pump the gas??? I think ALL 5

On our way up today we stopped at the International Missionary Board Headquarters... Here is a few shots of our wonderful group and our tour. We saw many pictures that different missionaries had taken from different areas. We were able to see their recording studios, libraries, Presidents Office, Lottie Moon Exhibit, etc. It was very informative to see what others are doing to spread the word!
